EuroscreenFAST R&D combines our first-in-class cell lines, equipment and technologies to drive the deorphanization research. One of our competititve advantages comes from the wide collection of human and animal tissue extracts used for the screening and identification of natural ligands for orphan GPCRs.  These extracts are processed using various protocols to obtain peptides, proteins, biogenic amines or lipid candidates as sources of GPCR ligands.  Moreover, most of the orphan human GPCRs have been cloned and expressed in recombinant cell lines adapted to functional screening.
